General

The following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) are valid between you and A.S.Helsingö Oy Ab (VAT number FI26900592) and apply to all use of and orders placed on A.S.Helsingö's website www.helsingo.com (“Website”).

By using the Website and/or placing an order on the Website you confirm that you have read the Terms and Conditions and that you accept to be bound by them. Before you accept the Terms and Conditions you shall also read and understand our Privacy Policy [Link ].

These terms & conditions shall apply to all sales through A.S.Helsingö and will exclude application of any deviating general or specific conditions or terms of buyer. No waiver or modification of these conditions of sale shall be binding upon A.S.Helsingö unless approved in writing by an authorized representative of A.S.Helsingö. 

A.S.Helsingö reserves the right to revise the Terms and Conditions at any time. The date of the latest update is found in the final section of the Terms and Conditions. Please note that the Terms and Conditions valid for your order is always the Terms and Conditions that you have read and accepted before you have placed your order and not a later version. You should keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference. 

Please note that A.S.Helsingö does not guarantee that all products presented on the Website are in stock or are available for purchase. A.S.Helsingö preserves its right to stop selling a product. 

Placing an order

Please make sure that you read and understand the Terms and Conditions before you place an order.

Before you place your order, you will be given the opportunity to review your selections, the information you have provided, the total price of your order and correct any input errors. Please note that products in your shopping bag are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers until you place your order. 

If prolonged inactivity causes your connection to the Website to fail, your selection of products may be lost. In such case, you will be required to re-enter your selection of products to the shopping bag.

Order confirmation

After submitting your order, A.S.Helsingö will send you an automatic order confirmation via e-mail to confirm that we have received your order and that it has been confirmed. Please note that the order confirmation e-mail is an acknowledgement that we have received your order and is not an acceptance of the order. For more information, please see section.

Acceptance

Please note that all orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by us. We may, if we see it necessary for the order fulfilment, change the details in your order. The customer will be informed about any changes. Once the order has been processed, you will receive a secondary email "order sent to plan email" (applicable only for orders containing kitchen, wardrobe and/or sideboard products). This email is sent 24 hours after your payment. This is a confirmation that your order has been sent to production and accepted and confirmed by us. 

If we already have received payment for the order we will refund the amount to you should we for any reason not accept your order. 

Prices

The prices and delivery costs shown on the Website include VAT.

The prices and delivery costs shown on the Website may vary from time to time. Please note that the delivery costs are not included in the prices for the goods. The delivery costs are shown in connection with the shipping methods at the checkout stage, and below in Section 8. 

Payments

We use Shopify’s payment services. For more information, please see Shopify’s Payment Terms.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express
  • ApplePay and Google Pay
  • Shop Pay (Shopify's fast checkout) 
  • PayPal

Delivery

We ship within the European Union (incl. Norway and Switzerland). Handles can also be shipped to the United States and Canada. If you order from a country outside the EU, please note that you are responsible for paying any import and duty fees that may arise in connection with your delivery. A.S.Helsingö has no responsibility to pay such fees. Your shipment may be held in customs until your fees are paid.

Please note that there might be temporary exceptions in our delivery times due to timetable exceptions at our factory, for example Summer production timetables usually affects the delivery times as well as some rare issues in the supply chain.  

Delivery times

Doors and sides: (kitchens, wardrobes, sideboards and storage units)

The delivery time for our products is 7–8 weeks. As all our products are made to order, we will, therefore, inform you of the delivery time later when your order is completed and ready to be shipped. 

Taps and sinks: The delivery time for the taps and sinks is 7 workdays on average. 

Handles and legs: The delivery time for our handles and legs is 7 workdays on average. 

Worktops: Most of our worktops are in stock and the average time from measurement to installation is from 1-2 weeks. For bespoke materials, the delivery time is 4–8 weeks. 

Refunds

All our products are made to order and cannot, therefore, be exchanged or returned. However, you have the right to return handles, sinks and taps within 14 days after receiving your order.

Return process for handles, sinks and taps: Please note that you are responsible for inspecting the products when you receive your order. The product must be returned unused and in original packaging. If the products get damaged while unpacking them, you do not have the right to return them. Unless faulty or damaged, the customer is responsible for all costs incurred in returning the product. The products can be returned either to our showroom or by mail.

When we have received and approved the returned products, we will issue you a refund within 30 days of the items being received by us.

Defective products

In the case of faulty or damaged products upon delivery, a reclamation shall be made using this reclamation form. When returning a product, the customer is responsible for returning the product in flawless condition in the original unopened packaging.

Quality guarantee

A.S.Helsingö acts in accordance with applicable consumer regulations. Please notify us as soon as possible after receiving defective products.

Trademarks

A.S.Helsingö's trademarks include but are not limited to the A.S.Helsingö name and logo. Please note that your use of this Website does not grant you any rights to use our trademarks. 

Cookies

Cookies are used on the Website to improve your browsing experience. Cookies may for example identify your device, allowing the Website to recall your personal settings.
